Here is the official video Fashion Week Video of the show and clips of backstage!
Over the past few weeks, MAC has Colour Craft, Baby Bloom, Euristocrats, and Love That Look on counter. That’s over 50 new products for us to flip out over. I swatched and compared almost all of the products. If you don’t want to break the bank, here are the top 5 products that you should definitely have!
Style.com is my one stop source for all things Fashion Week. One of the looks that really caught my eye was Dries Van Noten Spring/Summer 2009. The look calls for a glossy black eye as the focal point, with subtle skin. Brows are understated, so they are not filled in.
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation-#175
Make Up For Ever Face and Body Liquid Makeup-#77
Anastasia Brow Gel-Clear
Studio Stick Concealer-NW35 (Only in the First Picture)
Keep in mind, it is not easy to wear a glossy eye on the lid for long periods of time. It creases and moves so quickly, it’s insane. I reapplied and blended and reapplied and wiped away SO many times.
Stay tuned, I’ve got SO many more looks for you…
Ever wanted to learn what makes a M.A.C. Artist a M.A.C. Artist? Well know there is an event coming up at the M.A.C. counter at Macy’s Queens Center.
It’s called a Studio Talk. You will be getting a VIP Backstage Pass for a 2 hour class where you will be taught by two of our M.A.C. Pro Artists. These are the artists that work fashion week and have worked with numerous celebrities. You will be taught the latest trends and techniques. You will also be taught how to focus on different features of the face to enhance the area. You will be provided with training material as well as light refreshments. After the 2 hour class you will get a one on one hands on experience with one of the 25 artists that will be at the counter. You will get a full makeup application and have the chance to ask any questions you may not have been able to ask during the 2 hour class.
The class is on October 3rd or next Friday (which this is the first time that it’s ever done on a Friday where you can go out afterwards with your other friends who sign up with you looking fabulous). There is one from 2-4pm and another from 6-8pm. It is $75 to reserve the seat before the 3rd….HOWEVER…at the end of your full makeup application you get those $75 back to redeem in products which must be fully redeemed that day. So at the end of the day, if you think about it, the whole experience is free and you leave with products.
The address of the mall is:
90-15 Queens Blvd
Elmhurst, NY 11373
Don’t forget it’s the M.A.C. inside of Macy’s that’s having this event. If there are any questions direct them at firstname.lastname@example.org. Don’t forget to mention that Nina sent you when you sign up!!! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to learn from the best at M.A.C. See you there.~Nina
